Skatescool uses interactive skating activities to introduce fun, fitness and freedom to people of all ages.

Skatescool students participate in the levels program which takes skaters through from beginners to level 5. The students learn lots of show-stopping tricks like skating backwards, jumping, transitions, skating on 4 wheels, speed skating, spins, we even touch on jam skating and derby skills. We also play skating games in the class, the games utilise the skills the skaters have been learning.

The classes are great for both beginner and experienced skaters and you will be placed according to your skill level. Ages for children's classes range from 5 years to 16 years, with Adults classes from 15 up. Classes run through the school terms.

Students can learn to skate in either roller or inline skates, they must wear elbow, knee and wrist pads, plus their own bike helmet. Skatescool have roller skates and protective gear for hire or purchase from our Hindmarsh store.
